Striped Chevron Quilt

With the mountain of scraps from this chevron quilt, we decided we needed another chevron quilt. It was a brilliant idea.

Speaking of brilliant ideas, have you been on the blog Kitchen Table Quilting? You should. Really. We found the Striped Chevron Quilt tutorial and knew it was a must-go.

WARNING: the tutorial was super duper easy :) It was a great scrap buster project.

Here's the quilt pre-machine quilting:

"Finally a basting picture" you are thinking to yourself. We hardly ever take basting pictures because as soon as we baste a quilt, the machine quilting is done in a wink. Or something like that ;)

Post-Machine Quilting:

We'll let you in on a little secret: Straight line machine quilting takes no time at all. And when the quilt measures 36" x 43", the quilting fairies smile down :)

Turquoise polka dot binding. What a sight for sore eyes.

This one's for sale in our shop, like always...Quackadoodle Quilt repeated for the umpteenth time :)

Pinky promise we'll clip that string :)
